Ice-Breaker Party

Museo de La Plata

The Museum of La Plata, part of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Museum of the National University of La Plata (UNLP), is one of Latin America’s leading natural history museums.

Founded in 1884, its building is a neoclassical landmark that has been designated a National Historic Monument. The museum’s  collections comprise approximately four million specimens and objects, primarily from Argentina and South America, supporting internationally recognized research in Natural Sciences, Anthropology, and Archaeology.

The Museum’s permanent exhibition, distributed across 20 galleries, presents the history of life on Earth—from the origin of the universe to human evolution and cultural diversity—while promoting scientific outreach and public engagement.

The Ice-Breaker Party will be held on Sunday, February 14th, at 18:00

Previously, we will have a guided visit to the Museum.
